ArXiv an e-print service in the fields of physics, mathematics, non-linear science, computer science, and quantitative biology. The contents of arXiv conform to Cornell University academic standards.

National Institute of Standards and Technology. Online Scientific Databases on a variety of topics.

Scirus. Scirus is the most comprehensive science-specific search engine on the Internet. Driven by the latest search engine technology, Scirus searches over 167 million science-specific Web pages.

Information Services. Social and Human Sciences Online Periodicals (full text) Free access to specialized articles from around 700 periodicals in social and human sciences

Directory of Open Access Journals. This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals. We aim to cover all subjects and languages. As of 2 December 2006 there were 2485 journals in the directory, and 738 journals were searchable at article level
